Beloved,
This year’s Christmas Eve offering will support our Benevolence Program at University United Methodist Church.
For many families in our community, this year has brought one hard turn after another—benefits cut off with little warning, grocery and gas prices climbing, and the constant pressure of deciding which essentials can wait. When rent, utilities, medicine, childcare and food all compete for the same dollars, people are forced into impossible choices that no one should have to make alone.
Our Benevolence Fund exists to help carry that burden. Through this ministry, we’re able to provide rental and utility assistance for individuals and families facing a short-term crisis, offering practical support and a steady reminder that they are seen, valued, and not alone. If you or someone you know needs assistance, our church office receives and processes assistance requests Thursday mornings each week. Thank you for giving generously on Christmas Eve. Your offering will become real help—right when it’s needed most.
