CHINO, CA (June 5, 2024) -- On June 3, 2024, at 11:35 p.m., Chino Police officers responded to a carjacking that occurred at Liberty Park, located at 11800 Telephone Avenue. An adult male victim reported he was lured to the park by a female who was known to him. After arriving at the park, he was approached by two males who carjacked him at gunpoint. 

Chino Police Detectives were called in to assist with the investigation. Detectives identified the female as a 17-year-old juvenile from Victorville. The other two suspects were identified as Norberto Marinon, 24, of San Bernardino, and Sammy Lucero, 22, of San Bernardino. On June 4, 2024, at 1:30 p.m., Chino Police Detectives located and arrested Marinon at a residence in San Bernardino. On June 5, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., Chino Police Detectives located and arrested the 17-year-old female and Lucero at a residence in San Bernardino. Marinon and Lucero were booked at county jail for carjacking and conspiracy, and the juvenile suspect was booked at juvenile hall on the same charges.
