Greetings!

Love is in the air with Valentine’s Day around the corner…

The post-holiday reset has settled, and we’re officially back in the full swing of day-to-day work.

January was a beautiful transition month. My daughter stayed with us through January 24th for her long holiday break, and we made the most of it. We revisited some favorite theme parks—just like in the early days after we moved from Mexico to Florida, when my kids were still little. Roller coasters, lots of laughter, and even some memorable animal encounters—from horseshoe crabs to giraffes—made it extra special. Meanwhile, my niece (who got married last year) had a very different kind of wildlife experience! During her honeymoon in Africa, a hyena wandered into their bungalow—definitely the scare of a lifetime, here! There’s another short video below with proof! We also took Ali—our furry family member—to the beach for the very first time since adopting her in Illinois 10 years ago. Watching her discover the ocean was priceless.

On the professional front, I had the pleasure of enjoying a wonderful luncheon with one of my longest-standing clients (since 2013), SUGAR AI BABY, formerly Sullivan Productions. I’m so grateful for relationships that grow and evolve over time.

I also had the honor of collaborating on a new project with one of my favorite newer clients, Laughlin constable The live session was a total success, thanks in part to my new creative partners here in Tampa—Gary Rivera and Matt Powell from WESTEND RECORDING INC a multiple Emmy awards winner. Having a strong local team makes all the difference!

Horseshoe crabs are arthropods and the only surviving xiphosurans. Despite their name, they are not crabs or even crustaceans; they are chelicerates, more closely related to arachnids like spiders, ticks, and scorpions. WOW! I did not know of their existence until now.
