What Are The Advantages Of This New Form Of A Church Directory?

Here are some reasons why we are establishing this new directory:
Our last pictorial directory was published in 2018, and we needed to have a more current edition. We have had many new members join our congregation whose photo and information are not in this 2018 directory.
The pictorial directory is helpful in getting members of the congregation to recognize and know each other.
The pictorial directory is most helpful to Pastor and Staff in getting to put a name and a face together. This is especially very important to our Pastor!
When a new Pastor is on board, our new Pastor will want to get to know each of us as quickly as possible. What better way for our new Pastor to begin that process with the help of an accurate, current pictorial directory.
This directory is easy to update and keep current. Our current printed directory is only published, at best, once a year. It would be impossible to print it more often than that.
This new pictorial is free to you. There is no need for you to make an appointment and make a special trip to church to get a picture taken. There is no pressure from a salesperson to get you to buy photos. If you want to change your photo, you can do so at any time.
Our current printed directory is very time consuming to print and assemble. It is also costly to print. Paper and printer ink are not free! This new directory is much more economical for our church.
With the new digital directory, you can access it at anytime and from anywhere through your cell phone app. You can also access it from your home computer.
You can update information without the need to call or email the church office (although letting the office know of any changes would be helpful!). You can do this at anytime and from anywhere.
Using the cell phone app to access the directory, you will be able to dial a church member’s phone number that is in the directory just by touching on the person's listed phone number in the directory.
If you do not have a computer or cell phone, we can provide a printed copy. If you use a computer, you will be able to print out a copy.

For those of you who can get started on your own, the two links, in the next section below, will guide you through the process of setting up your account and editing your information.
If you need help on a one to one basis, our team will be at church services to assist you before and after the service. Look for a display in the Narthex. Someone will be there to help you. We will also take your photo which we will use for the directory. Please bring your cell phone to church since you will need it to get started.
