Help us raise $12,000 for Hermosa schools during the Memorial Day Weekend Parking Lot Fundraiser (May 23–25)! Volunteering is easy, fun, and a great way to give back. Middle School students who volunteer with a parent will earn 8 Service Points. Each two‑hour shift involves collecting parking fees and directing cars to available spaces at the Valley School lots. Calling all TK - 4th Graders: Join us this Wednesday evening, April 29th from 6-8pm in the Hermosa View School MPR for Mad Science Night!

Featuring a Slime Booth, Super Physics Booth and Rocks & Minerals Booth, it's sure to be an explosive evening of fun!

Hermosa View is looking for parent volunteers to host interactive career booths for their Career Fair on Tuesday, May 26th from 9am-11am. We would love for parents to share their job, inspire students, and lead a simple hands-on activity! The school will provide tables and chairs. Sign up here or reach out to the school counselor at sokuda@hbcsd.org with any questions!

Our final project of the year will be taught in classrooms over the next two weeks. In Project 6, Suncatchers: The Art of Stained Glass, students explore the ancient art form that combines craftsmanship and artistic expression. Students will create their own pieces using cut class and air dry clay, drawing inspiration from geometric patterns and nature.

Room parents will be in touch as we'd appreciate extra hands on deck for this lesson!

We set out with an ambitious goal of $100,000—and thanks to all of you, we didn’t just meet it, we blew past it!

Together, we raised an incredible $185,000 for our schools. What an achievement! And it wasn’t just records that got smashed—so did a few pies! A huge thank you to our three amazing principals—Dr. G, Principal Yang, and Principal Bledsoe—for being such great sports and enthusiastically following through on the pie-throw celebration when we hit our goal. Your spirit made the moment even more memorable for everyone involved.
