A Message from the President: Honoring Our Roots, Celebrating Our Future
Dear Members and Friends,
February is often defined by the love…and the chill…in the air, but within our Chamber, it is a month fueled by connection, appreciation, and growth. As we look forward to the year ahead, we find ourselves standing at a unique crossroads of history and progress.
232 Years in the Making
As our nation prepares for the America 250 celebration, it’s the perfect time to reflect on our own local legacy. Colerain Township was established in 1794, carved out of the wilderness by a man with a vision for community.
While deciding what I wanted to write to all of you I found myself wondering what our Township’s founder, John Dunlap, would think if he could see us today. In 1794, the "business" of the township was survival and basic commerce. Today, we boast over 1,100 thriving businesses. I suspect Dunlap would be in awe; not just of the sheer numbers, but of the innovation, diversity, and resilience that define our local economy in 2026.
The pinnacle of our year is fast approaching. Please join us for the Annual Awards Dinner on February 26, 2026, at Fairfield Receptions. This is truly our "Super Bowl." It is a prestigious platform where we recognize the tireless efforts of local business leaders, entrepreneurs, outstanding students, and organizations that have made a significant impact on Colerain Township.
-
Tickets & Sponsorships: Opportunities are still available! Don’t miss your chance to be part of the Chamber’s most celebrated evening.
-
The Goal: To shine a spotlight on those who make our community a better place to live, work and play.
In the spirit of growth, I am thrilled to introduce a new section in our newsletter: Colerain Hope Highlights. Our goal is to facilitate "win-win partnerships" by fostering relationships between our business members and local non-profits. When we work together, our collective impact is exponentially stronger. I encourage you to check out this section to see how your business can engage with a local cause that matters.
If you aren't yet a member, there has never been a better time to join our ranks. We provide the tools you need to succeed through: networking, cost-saving benefits, referrals and marketing. I would love to meet with you to discuss how the Chamber could support your business or organization.
Whether you are a legacy business, new startup, student or organization leader, you are part of the story John Dunlap started over two centuries ago. Let’s make 2026 our most impactful year yet.
Warmly,
| | | |
