Doesn't Leos Janacek just say it all? Love's a feeling, an emotion, appearing in an ever flowing, changing way. It's not something that is contained, stable or even definable. But we recognize it when it takes us over, when it "envelopes" us, "intoxicates" us, and brings us joy as Leos says. This alone makes it divine, eternal, like a lasting fragrance that invites waves of cherished memories to enter our hearts. It's our raison d'etre as sentient and emotional beings.
Valentine's Day reminds us of the beauty of our love for others with whom we share our lives and even those we may never know insofar as they exit outside of our temporal or spatial physical reality, but share a consciousness that as heartfelt beings, we hold the potential to love one another.
If you ever wonder "Where's the love?", remember the beauty of Leos' words, and find comfort in the notion that it's everywhere around you, and that you inherently possess the ability to be wrapped in its charms.
