Now that Band, Choir, and Orchestra camps have all been held, we need families to pay the fees needed to hold these events.
Camp Fees:
Band Camp - $45
Orchestra Camp - $65
Choir Camp - $65
Note: Camp fees are typically $180-$200 to cover the costs of overnight lodging, meals, and coaching. Due to the shift to day camps this year, we have fewer lodging/rental and meal expenses, which is why camp fees are so much lower this year.
Pay camp fees through the website or by mailing a check.
Scholarships are available!
It is our goal for all families to participate regardless of financial situation. If you need partial or full help paying for these fees, scholarships are available.

After all students have been recognized, families will be escorted back to the bleachers to enjoy the rest of the game.

Choir Camp Recap
Ms. Rowley and the Choir Reps did a great job organizing Choir camp last weekend, at Camp Burton on Vashon Island. Check out the pictures and video on social media if you missed them.
More than 100 Choir students met up at school on Friday night for group bonding activities and planning for the school year. Advanced Chorale and Concert Choir headed to Camp Burton on Saturday. The weather could not have been better for the first field trip since COVID. The best part of the day was the singing, hanging out with friends, and walking on the beach. We are so grateful to the chaperones who volunteered and hope everyone had a wonderful experience! The Camp Burton trip provided an opportunity for the students to come together, develop trust, friendships, and to sound phenomenal as a group.
A shout out to Ms. Rowley and Serena for their dedication to the choirs. Look for videos next week!

National PTA’s Reflections program provides opportunities for recognition and access to the arts, which boosts student confidence and success in the arts and in life. Students submit their completed works of art in one or all of the available arts categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts.
The 2021–2022 Reflections theme is I Will Change the World By…
These entries are great to add to college applications.
The due date for Reflections entries to BHS is October 22, 2021. Your piece will go through a process with BHS before getting forwarded to the national program by January 21, 2022. That is when it needs to be received by the WSPTA office for councils and non-council local PTAs.
