Dear Friends,

June is here which means the official start of summer is near!

Did you know June is also recognized as National Fresh Fruit & Vegetables Month?

We'll be highlighting some of our favorite nutritional dishes throughout the month which include local, fresh vegetables sourced from Carpenter Art Garden in Binghampton.

We hope you have been enjoying reading our Hastings' Tasting Wine Features as much as we have loved putting them together for you! Each month we spotlight one (or a few) of Glenda's favorite wines from Napa Café's wine list.

This month we are excited to recognize Ancient Peaks Winery's Sauvignon Blanc as well as their One Stone Rosé. Ancient Peaks is a family-owned winery specializing in wines from our estate Margarita Vineyard in Paso Robles, California. Margarita Vineyard stands alone as the only vineyard in its vicinity, and thus the only vineyard to benefit from the extraordinary growing conditions of the area.

Released in February of this year, One Stone Rosé is a tribute to all of the women who move mountains, one stone at a time. A portion of each bottle sold is donated to Dream Big Darling, a nonprofit that provides mentorship programs for the next generation of leaders in the wine and spirits industry. Have a glass the next time you dine with us and help support the next generation of leaders in the wine and spirits industry!

We are looking forward to enjoying our annual summer vacation this year and will be closed from Wednesday, June 29 to Wednesday, July 6! As always we will miss you that week, but look forward to serving you before and catching up with you after we return! Make your next dinner reservation HERE.

If you've recently dined in or ordered delivery, we'd love for you to share your dining experience with us by posting a review to our OpenTable or Facebook page!

Hastings' Tastings: Ancient Peaks Winery
We are thrilled to announce Ancient Peaks Winery as our Hastings' Tastings of the month with features on the Sauvignon Blanc and One Stone Rosé!

Ancient Peak's estate Margarita Vineyard is the southernmost vineyard in the Paso Robles Viticultural Area resulting in extraordinary growing conditions, producing fruit with fine balance and rich flavor. They handcraft Bordeaux varietals that exhibit a natural complexity – a direct reflection of Margarita Vineyard’s rare array of soils.

Steeped in Mission-era history and Wild West mythology, Santa Margarita Ranch is today owned by three longtime local winegrowing and ranching families who are committed to advancing the land's legacy.

Ancient Peaks recently added a new offering to its family of wines: One Stone Rosé. As part of the winery’s One Stone brand, this rosé pays tribute to all of the women who move mountains, one stone at a time. A portion of each bottle sold is donated to Dream Big Darling, a nonprofit that provides educational opportunities and mentorship programs for the next generation of female leaders in the wine and spirits industry.

Vibrant, zippy, and a touch tropical, the 2021 Rosé of Pinot Noir perfectly encapsulates that feeling of the weather warming up — and the winter jackets going back in the closet. Support their mission and try a glass the next time you are in!
