NINE BLUE ASH-BASED COMPANIES MAKE

GRAND OPENINGS AND RIBBON-CUTTINGS

The Cincinnati Rehabilitation Hospital at Blue Ash is now open in the Neighborhoods at Summit Park, 4291 Parkview Drive.

City officials were given a tour of the state-of-the-art facility on December 13. Read more.

The grand opening of the Cincinnati Eye Institute Retina Clinic was held on December 8. Located at The Landings, 9997 Carver Road, this new state-of-the-art 36,000-square-foot clinical space is CEI’s 16th office in the greater Cincinnati area. Read more.

UK-based Preventx has opened its new lab in Blue Ash. The company provides at-home health test kits and is expanding into the U.S. market with the opening of a lab. Read more.

Flipside Products, Inc. has opened its new Blue Ash headquarters. The company held a ribbon-cutting ceremony in October to celebrate the new location at 4685 Osborne Avenue. Read more.

Intercontinental Oils and Fats (ICOF) held an open house and ribbon-cutting on October 3 at its new U.S. headquarters at 9999 Carver Road. ICOF, a subsidiary of the Musim Mas Group, is a palm oil business with 38,000 employees in 13 countries worldwide. Read more.

Kroger held a grand opening celebration for its new Kroger Fuel location at 11220 Reed Hartman Highway on December 8. Read more.

FOUR NEW BUSINESSES SIGN LEASES AT

BLUE ASH'S LANDINGS PARK

Four new businesses have signed leases at Landings Park, according to VanTrust Real Estate, LLC.

VOCA, a staffing company, is now located at Landings III, 9999 Carver Road.

Clubessential Holdings and Element Materials Technology have moved into Landings II, 9987 Carver Road. DOCS Dermatology executive offices will be moving into Landings II soon.

“VanTrust shares our commitment to offering strategically planned development projects that contribute significantly to our local economy,” said Dan Johnson, Economic Development Director for the City of Blue Ash. “The company is a very valued partner in the development of the Blue Ash community and shares our vision of delivering high-quality office space.”

OHIO RANKS #1 ON PRESTIGIOUS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT INDEX

Governor Mike DeWine, Lt Governor Jon Husted, Ohio Department of Development, and JobsOhio announced that Ohio is ranked number one in the Global Groundwork Index by Site Selection magazine based on an analysis of job creation, capital expenditures, and strategic infrastructure development from 2019 through July 2023.

"Ohio ranks Number One in the Global Groundwork Index because we recognize the importance of making strategic investments today that will impact Ohio's future," said Ohio Governor Mike DeWine. Read the full news release from Jobs Ohio.

STATE OF BLUE ASH PRESENTED TO THE BLUE ASH BUSINESS ASSOCIATION

The Blue Ash Business Association held its annual State of Blue Ash luncheon on January 4.

Planning and Zoning Administrator Paul Kleier and Communications Coordinator Rachel Murray spoke at the event about economic development, new businesses in the City, and upcoming events.

TOWNE SQUARE PROJECT UPDATE

Progress is being made in the Towne Square Renovation project in downtown Blue Ash!

The parking lot is in place and the parking lot connector has been reestablished between the City parking lot and the Park Pour parking lot.

The bricks are going up on the park service/restroom building. Decorative stonework has been installed in front of Mac's Pizza. Underground utility work continues.

HIGH SCHOOL TECH INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

NOW ENROLLING STUDENTS

The High School Tech Internship program is now open for Ohio students to enroll.

Ohio businesses will be reimbursed up to $5,000 per intern to encourage employers to hire high school students in tech-related roles.

The goal of the program is to provide Ohio businesses with the tech talent they need while providing students with valuable work experience at an early age. Read more.
