As we enter an exciting new chapter of growth and completion of Shenten Thagye Ling Monastery and Cultural Center, we are seeking a volunteer Treasurer to join our organization.

The Mustang Bön Foundation, (MBF), is dedicated to preserving the Bön Tibetan culture, language, and meditation traditions of Nepal’s Mustang Valley. Our work supports education, the transcription and preservation of sacred texts, ancient herbal medicine practices, expansion of Shenten Thagye Ling Monastery.

This is a meaningful opportunity to help steward donor resources responsibly, while supporting the preservation of a living Himalayan cultural and spiritual tradition.

The Treasurer will play an essential role in ensuring that every dollar entrusted to MBF is managed with integrity, transparency, and care. Through thoughtful financial oversight, this role directly supports the preservation of Tibetan language, culture, and contemplative practices in Mustang.

This volunteer position requires approximately 5–10 hours per month and offers the opportunity to contribute to the leadership and long-term sustainability of a rare and endangered cultural heritage.
