After getting off to a fast start last week the pace of increasing membership slowed a bit….but maybe not this slow...

There were some bright spots and a new leader for the 4^th quarter membership incentive program.  The lead now belongs to the Greensburg Optimist Club of Indiana South which added six members this past week. This pushed last week’s leader, Duldalk of Maryland South Delaware, into the second position after last week’s fast start.  The Chilton Optimist Club in Wisconsin North, Upper Michigan shifted their race entry into another gear, adding four members. The B Ridder Optimist Club of Louisiana and the Woodstock Optimist Club in the Gateway District used NASCAR drafting techniques to stay close this week, adding three members each.



Several other Clubs were able to add two members or one as the second week of Let’s Go Racing ended. Only Clubs that have pre-registered for the race are eligible for the competition.

The top prize in the contest is $1,000 for the Club adding the most members. The Club with the highest percentage of membership growth during the period will also collect $1,000.

There will also be cash prizes for second and third place in for the number of members added as well as the percentage of new members added. The racing rules require that all new members added during the race be paid members through the start of the 2023-2024 second quarter ( January-March 2024) Any club not falling into the top three positions of each category will be placed in a random draw for one of two cash prizes.
