Join us tonight at 5 p.m. for the annual Alumni & Friends Homecoming Tailgate. Located in the northwest corner of the Peoples Bank Stadium parking lot, the tailgate will feature food trucks, an inflatable obstacle course, and the Texas Tech Masked Rider at 6 p.m.

Frenship High School Trunk-or-Treat


Tonight, the FHS National Honor Society is hosting its annual Trunk-or-Treat event that begins at 5:00 p.m. in the northeastern parking lot of the high school, directly in front of the main office. NHS wants to invite all Frenship Families to enjoy treats and games before the Homecoming football game!

Frenship High School UIL Region Marching Contest


Congratulations to the Frenship High School Band for winning 1st Division in the UIL Region Marching Contest this past week. The Tigers will advance to the UIL Area A Marching Contest on Saturday, November 2 in Odessa. 

This week we recognized several outstanding Tigers at the October School Board Meeting! Congratulations to Allen Tanner, Frenship's Maintenance Coordinator for being one of the FacilitiesNet Facility Champion National Award recipients. Congratulations to four Frenship High School seniors who have been named National Merit Commended Students: Saif Bernstein, Nathan Layton, Matthew Noel, and Thomas Wylie. Lastly, we would like to congratulate 10 Frenship High School Students on their recent College Board National Recognition Awards. Awesome work, students!

2024-2025 District Calendar Update: November 5, 2024

Frenship Families, don't forget! November 5, 2024, is now a Staff Professional Development Day/Student Holiday which means staff will do professional development while students have the day off. Please note that November 4 is a Professional Development Day/Student Holiday, that means this is a four-day weekend for students.

Free STEM Family Night Events

Frenship Families are invited to attend free STEM Family Events. The Science Spectrum is hosting a STEM Night on

October 24 from 6pm-8pm. The Texas Tech STEM Center for Outreach and Education is also hosting a STEM Night on November 7 from 4pm-7pm in the SUB Ballroom on the TTU campus. View the Frenship Community Bulletin Board for more details.

The H-E-B Excellence in Education program awards cash grants to outstanding public school professionals to thank them for their dedication and commitment. Teachers, principals, and counselors can apply until December 2.

Mrs. Baird's Teachers on the Rise

Do you have an outstanding Frenship Teacher? Nominate them for the Mrs. Baird's Teachers on the Rise award! Every month during the school year, three teachers across the Lubbock area will be recognized. Each winning teacher will receive a $100 gift card from United Supermarkets and a meal for two at The Texas Tech Club. Each student who nominates a winning teacher will also win a $50 American Express gift card from Mrs. Baird’s.

Football Homecoming Tickets

Home-side tickets for tonight's Homecoming Football game are SOLD OUT. There are plenty of tickets available on the Visitor Side; However, tickets purchased for the visiting side allow admission for the visiting side only. Fans will NOT be permitted to walk across to the other side of the stadium at any point of the game. There will be no re-entry on either side for tonight's game.

Girls Golf

10/18-19 - Seminole Fall Invitational | 2nd Place & 7th Place

The Varsity Blue team shot 338-353 to finish in 2nd place. Dayna Keeling shot 82-84 to finish in 6th place individually and Emilee Jaime shot 87-83 to finish in a tie for 9th place.  


The Varsity Gold team finished in a tie for 7th place. Avery Smith led the way by shooting 92-88 to finish in 18th place individually. Overall, there were 20 teams and 115 individual golfers playing in the tournament. Great work, Tigers!
