Hello, friends!
Each year, Woodlands hosts a benefit golf tournament. It is one of our few fundraising events of the year. Since 2008, God has provided nearly $900,000 through these tournaments to help fund projects like the revitalization of our lakefront and scholarships for at-risk campers, as well as the construction of two cabins, a chapel, the Commons, and the fabulous new Lodge at Woodlands!
This year, we set a big, hairy, audacious goal of raising $100k in a day, and the tournament is this Monday!
This year's tournament centers around two key projects:
-
Fund the startup costs to put a second Freestyle (traveling day camp) team on the road this summer, enabling 1,000 more campers to hear about Jesus, and...
-
Build porches on our Xtreme (adventure camp) shelters, providing a place where those life-changing conversations between campers and counselors can take place!
Would you be willing to help? Our pledge to you is that we will use every donated dollar to inspire and equip a generation of kids to follow Jesus and love God's Word!
