A Better Way to Grow the Perfect Spheroid

We've partnered with a new company whose sole focus is growing spheroids, organoids and embryoids. See their unique solution for producing 1,000s of spheroids/organoids in a single cell culture plate.

BEST IN SHOW

TruSphere Hydrogel Plate Inserts

Spheroids, organoids, and embryoids allow labs to ask important questions in a 3D multi-cellular milieu. Unfortunately, there are only a few, expensive options for growing large quantities of spheroids in a precise manner -- that is until now. TruSphere Plates contain molded hydrogel inserts with carefully placed micro-wells located along micro-channels, like spokes on a bicycle wheel. Each insert can be used to produce literally hundreds of precisely-sized cellular clusters (whether spheroid, organoid, or embryoid). A simple seeding step is all that is needed to uniformly fill each of the micro-wells. TruSphere Inserts allow the formation of 150 to 400 micron diameter spheroids that can be maintained in a healthy state for months.

When you're ready to analyze the spheroids, either remove these cell clusters from the micro-wells by flushing with media or directly analyze them as they sit in the micro-wells. The hydrogel insert can be embedded in paraffin and then sectioned. Or simply perform immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence assays without needing to remove the spheroids from the inserts. TruSphere Inserts are an easy and versatile option for growing spheroids!

Are you ready to try a new way to grow spheroids? Then ask us about our special 50% trial discount on a single plate type of your choosing. Either 6-well, 12-well, or 24-well are available. Or use coupon code BDB2411TRU to order a "trial" plate directly online. [Valid for customers in the USA and Canada only. Applied to only one of these product codes: APL-TS6-500, APL-TS12-500, or APL-TS24-500. Special trial price of $82.50 ends December 31, 2024.]

Customer feedback for Bambanker

We've been providing Bambanker Freezing Media to labs in the USA and Canada for eleven years. It's ideal for cultured cell lines, primary cells, tissue, tumor samples, and organoids. During this time we've shipped more than 30,000 bottles of Bambanker! So it's not surprising that our customers have had great things to say about this one-of-a-kind cryopreservation reagent:

“Bambanker HRM is an excellent product. We used for all our stem cell applications in our laboratory and for freezing sensitive cell lines. Viability and recovery in Bambanker HRM is >90% and the best part is that it is direct freeze reagent in -80C.“

Stanford University

“Extremely easy-to-use product. Quick and efficient freezing medium validated in iPSCs. Conventional thawing methods (post-freezing with Bambanker) result in high yield of viable cells.“

Wang Lab, Stanford University

“We use Bambanker HRM in our lab and we have been very happy with it. We have human induced pluripotent stem cells that we work with which have come from “diseased” individuals. These cells don’t come out of freeze thaw very well. We have only been able to get them to survive by using Bambanker. It has been essential for us.”

Researcher, Van Andel Institute

“For the last 2 years Bambanker HRM has been extensively used in our lab to cryopreserve human induced pluripotent cells. We wanted to stay in a xeno-free environment. Hence, Bambanker HRM was the best choice.“

Christian, University Medicine Rostock
