Happy Mother's Day to the Moms out there!

It's that time of year!

• Thursday: St. Michael Catholic High School Graduation
• Friday: Ordo Amoris Classical Academy family picnic and last day of school

The Children's Dance Theatre presents Sleeping Beauty at the Fairhope Civic Center this week.

Not sure how many of us are planning for the holidays yet, let alone 2050, so I'm glad someone is thinking ahead: The Eastern Shore MPO has scheduled a meeting for Thursday regarding long-term transportation plans, and the community is welcome to attend and provide input. Details below.

Thanks to Heather Rothstein Stringfellow of Weeks Bay Plantation for putting us in touch with India Bryant of Ruth's Garden. This week's Rooted event is inspired by India's grandmother who was known throughout her community for her natural healing wisdom.

A week from today is the next bimonthly Mobile Bay Makers Market. ***Don't forget, they are now located at the Hope Community grounds at the intersection of Section Street and Twin Beech Road.***
