invite you to
Collectors Choice XX
Live Streamed on YouTube
Saturday, November 7, 2020

Collectors Choice is beloved annually by local artists, collectors and art enthusiasts as it raises funds with an evening of original artwork, suspenseful fun and – best of all! – luck of the draw. As each Collectors Choice ticket holder is randomly selected, the lucky person acquires one piece of original artwork (valued at $250 or more) of his or her choice. Tickets are limited to the number of artworks available. All proceeds support the mission and programs of the St. Louis Artists’ Guild.

This year’s Collectors Choice goes virtual! In this brave new world, the safety of guests, volunteers and staff is our top priority. We look forward to seeing you in real-time as the event streams live on YouTube that evening! The Waiting Room will open at 6 p.m. and selection of names begins at 7 p.m. The marvelous artwork can be viewed both on our website stlouisartistsguild.org and in our gallery from October 24 until November 7 so you can, like always, list your preferred pieces. More to come.
Fall Classes!

There's still time to register for these fabulous online and in-person classes starting this week (that's right, it's almost October)! Don't wait to register– you wont want to miss out!

Creating Your Virtual Presence as an Artist (Online)
with Zack Petot
October 3-October 24
In a growing online art world, an artist's website and social media is increasingly crucial to market oneself, make new connections, and extend future opportunities. In this course, you will learn the basics of building a free* custom website using templates from imcreator along with tips for setting up an Instagram account and Facebook page for your work. The course will also cover the basics of pricing work, writing an invoice, online selling, documenting work in a professional manner, and digitally archiving your work. Ages 16+

In a time of uncertainty, all we need is love…Dove Love! You’ll find it at West County Center. Eleven local artists inspired by the iconic West County Dove, a symbol of peace, hope and love, have created works of art for you to see.

From September 9th to 30th, visit West County Center to vote via text for your favorite Dove Love painting. Paintings are located along the Art Walk on Level 1 between Nordstrom and JCPenney.
The top three artists with the most votes will win prizes from the mall: $250 store gift card for First Place, $150 store gift card for Second Place and $100 store gift card for Third Place. Winning artists will select the West County Center store gift card.

Later this year, the paintings will be donated to the St. Louis Artists Guild and may be purchased through their annual fundraiser event where half the proceeds will benefit the Guild and the other half will benefit the artist. So go out to vote and enjoy some Dove Love at West County Center.
