CUNY Callouts

Annemarie Ianos, Baruch ’26, transferred to CUNY from Rutgers last fall to pursue studies in pre-med and pre-law. She’s always been interested in science, but after she took a Law and Society class during her freshman year, she expanded her goals and put them on a dual track. Annemarie is also a college junior at 17-years-old!

Since January, Annemarie has been a research assistant in computational chemistry and social psychology in several labs led by Baruch professors. As an intern, she learns alongside epidemiology experts at a pharmaceutical company, creating posters for conferences and producing literature reviews and quality control reports. She also takes law classes and plans to sit for the LSAT after graduation.

What are some of your hobbies?

“Outside of college, I like to watercolor small sceneries and give these paintings to my friends. I also enjoy reading books on behavioral economics and listening to music.”
