It's time to team up! Our June event is a Captain and Crew Member Guest. We'll be playing at the beautiful and scenic Woodcrest Golf Club in Manlius. Register to take part in what's sure to be a fun day with members and friends. Hot dogs and burgers will be available to purchase. Looking for a team? Let us know and we'll help you find one!

LEAGUE HIGHLIGHTS AND ACHIEVEMENTS

Congratulations to all!

Fran Piraino, while subbing at Drumlins, Monday May 9, carded a birdie on the 10^th hole and finished with a fabulous 47 for the round.

On May 11, the Wednesday 18-hole League at Foxfire had lots of excitement. Mary Jo Coleman and Janis Luce both had chip-ins. Mary Jo from the fringe of the 17^th green and Janis from the edge of the 18^th green. Janet Schwartz and Colleen Roche (pictured below), playing in in the same foursome both birdied the Par 5, 393 yard, 8^th hole.

WEEKEND TRAVEL LEAGUE MAY 14

Playing at Ravenwood Golf Course, Cassie Breen and Colleen Roche carded birdies and Betty Hatem and Janet Schwartz had chip ins during the first weekend of our Travel League. Congrats!

The Weekend Travel League kicked off the season on a warm and sunny day May 14 at Ravenwood Golf Course in Victor.

INTRO LEAGUE

Our Intro To Golf Butternut Creek League started on May 10. Players are receiving five weeks of instruction with Michael Doctor, PGA followed by small group play with mentors. By the look of those smiles, they are having fun!

Thruway Challenge Update!

This season’s event, being hosted by the Albany Chapter, will be held on Saturday, August 6, at the Cedar Lake Club. A beautiful venue, Cedar Lake is tucked into the hills just outside New Hartford.

Mark your calendars for a fun day with some friendly competition between the Rochester, Syracuse, and Albany Chapters. Additional details when available!!

TAKE THE CHALLENGE!

Biggest Loser Handicap Challenge

Just as a new year brings resolutions, the start of the golf season brings new goals for your game --- hit a few more fairways, chip a bit closer, and drop a few more putts. Get your game in shape by

participating the Chapter’s Biggest Loser Handicap Challenge.

There is no fee to participate.

Over the course of sixteen weeks, from May 21 to September 10, we’ll see who improves the most. Winners will be determined using the USGA recommended method of calculation and announced at the

End of Season event September 17. Post all rounds played to get into the mix! Participating members will be flighted- which means you will compete against members that score similar to you. Good luck to all!!
