Hey Y'All Saints,

This Sunday we observe the Feast of All Saints', from which our church takes its name.

This celebration provides an opportunity to remember the saints who have gone before us and to reflect upon the gift and wonder of being claimed by God as "saints," each and every one of us, and given gifts that we might share in the transformation of the world.

Later this month, we begin preparations for our 8th through 10th grade confirmation program , which will begin in January. In many ways, exploring one's identity and gifts in Christ is what confirmation is all about. In the Episcopal Church, confirmation is an important sacrament and milestone, in which teenagers (and adults) publicly claim the faith of their baptism.

As was announced earlier in the fall, confirmation this year will be offered for all 8th through 10th graders on Sunday mornings January through May, with several other activities throughout the spring. It all begins with a potluck dinner and orientation session for youth and parents on Sunday, November 17 at 6:00 p.m. in the Attic.

Registration is now open. Please sign up so we can know how many to expect both for the orientation potluck and the classes when they begin in January. All the details and expectations for this year's program are available on our youth pages at www.yallsaints.church/confirmation. Please contact me regarding with any questions or special accommodations.
In the meantime, we have several offerings listed below for all youth in grades 6 through 12, and we hope to see you on the block soon!
Peace,

The Rev. Zack Nyein
