A Message from Sheriff Paul Miyamoto

Dear Friends,

The shift to remote meetings during COVID-19 has increased public access to government and energized public comment. A vibrant, healthy democracy requires that citizens be vigilant and actively engaged.

With remote access, we don't have to be physically present in the meeting room to make our voices heard.

  • Visit the Board of Supervisor's Legislative Research Center, which posts Board and committee agendas and instructions for providing public comment remotely to learn when issues that matter to you will be considered.

  • Search for commission meetings at sf.gov and learn when agenda items are scheduled for hearing and comment.

You have a right to be involved in the decision-making process. We are a better community, city and country when every voice has the opportunity to be heard.
