New: Request From Ms. Olson
We are fortunate at Xavier to have an outstanding faculty committed to the mission of our school. In their preparation, their willingness to help outside the school day and their willingness to direct some of our spiritual and extracurricular activities, the Xavier faculty demonstrates on a daily basis their desire to provide our students with an outstanding faith-based education. And, as many of you are aware, our faculty is compensated considerably less than their counterparts in area public schools. Clearly, their vocation is not prioritized by pay.

I write today to ask that you consider helping me show appreciation for all that our faculty do for the students at Xavier.

You may on occasion have tickets to local events (sporting events, concerts, etc.) that you are unable to use. If you are going to give away your tickets, I ask that you consider passing them along to me so that I may present them to staff members in thanks for all of their efforts. Many of you have done so in the past and I can tell you that our teachers have been overwhelmed by the gesture. It was a treat that many of them don’t get to experience very often.

I thank you for your continued prayerful support of Xavier. It is you who help make this a wonderful school community!

Sincerely,

Angela Olson, Principal
