Annual Report

It is once again time to prepare our annual reports for the upcoming annual meeting. Please submit your current report as a Word document to office@salemwestpres.org no later than February 6th. Thank you for your help in making this process smooth and timely.

Boulder Hall

Good news! Due to the faithfulness of everyone who made a pledge to help pay off the Boulder Hall loan, we have reached our goal early. The remainder of the Boulder Hall loan is paid! We will have a celebration in February to mark this accomplishment.

If you are still faithfully giving toward the Boulder Hall loan each month, the Budget and Finance committee does hope that you will be willing to continue to donate those additional funds toward either:

  1) the church's General Fund, which pays for salaries, utilities, building maintenance, programs, and local mission work, or

  2) the Building Reserve Fund, which is money set aside to use for larger than usual maintenance or repair projects on our building and grounds, such as our upcoming women's restroom upgrade.

All donations marked Boulder Hall or Building Fund will now be redirected into the Building Reserve Fund.

Thank you again for your help in paying off the Boulder Hall loan!

Table of Plenty

Happy New Year! How about this for a new year's resolution?

Take out a red pen, (or any pen) and mark EVERY 3rd Sunday with an X to remind yourselves that the 3rd Sunday of the month is Table of Plenty Sunday. A reminder to put in an extra can or package of food for our food boxes to be shared with our not so fortunate neighbors and also make their New Year a it brighter. Needed? canned vegies, and canned fruits, soups, baked beans, spaghetti, beef stews, and of course, peanut butter. Right now there is no need for canned tuna. Also pastas, rice, hamburger helper type boxed meals. The TOP crew will be taking the food to TOP this coming Tuesday, Jan. 20. Also, if you don't like the shopping idea, monetary donations are happily accepted and will be used to purchase food items that are in short supply. The Outreach for Justice committee thanks our congregation for supporting this worthy mission..

Tai Chi is back!
