Introducing Nashville’s New Authentic Local Tequila

Nashville, TN – August 13, 2024. Hacienda Rio Verde Tequila is proud to announce its entry into the premium tequila Nashville market. Establishing Hacienda Rio Verde in Nashville, Tennessee, is a testament to their unwavering belief in the power of dedication and dreams. Their commitment to quality and authenticity ensures that Hacienda Rio Verde Tequila will be a favorite among discerning tequila connoisseurs.

“Our commitment is to craft a Tequila with spirit, of high quality, creating a testament to the firm belief in dedication and dreams. We enjoyed exploring new techniques, such as aging our Reposado in bourbon barrels that highlight the depth and richness of agave with a southern appeal.” said founder and tequila connoisseur Alfredo Gomez. “Each sip is a tribute to centuries of history, taking you on a sensory journey to the agave lands of Jalisco, where the true magic of tequila is born.”

The brand features four exceptional varieties, each reflecting a unique aspect of the rich Mexican tequila heritage. The brand is dedicated to crafting high-quality spirits that authentically represent Mexican culture and traditions.

BLANCO TEQUILA: A pure 100% agave tequila, embodying the essence of traditional Mexican tequila-making.

ROSA TEQUILA: Vivacious and unique, this tequila is briefly aged in fine merlot barrels from the vineyards of Baja California, imparting a subtle pink hue and refined flavor.

REPOSADO TEQUILA: Aged in bourbon barrels, this tequila boasts a robust personality and a flavor profile that pays homage to southern hospitality.

AÑEJO TEQUILA: Currently aging in barrels, this exceptional tequila will be ready for distribution in early 2025, promising a rich and mature taste.

The three visionaries behind Hacienda Rio Verde Tequila are:

  • Alfredo Gomez: Hailing from Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico, Alfredo is a multifaceted entrepreneur and master tequila connoisseur. Now residing in Middle Tennessee with his family, Alfredo embarked on a dedicated journey in 2020 to create authentic tequila products. His deep knowledge and expertise in analyzing and evaluating tequilas have been instrumental in shaping Hacienda Rio Verde.
  • Gumaro Vega: Born in Rio Verde, San Luis Potosi, Mexico, and now a longtime resident of Nashville, Gumaro is a successful entrepreneur with ventures including Los Pumas Concrete, Vega Entertainment, and Sabor del Rancho Mexican Food Truck. His unwavering commitment to producing 100% agave tequila with no chemicals, additives, sweeteners, flavors, or colors stems from his deep love for authentic Mexican tequila.
  • Ramiro Reyes: Born in Jalisco, Mexico, the cradle of tequila, Ramiro's admiration and passion for tequila began early in life. Now living in Tennessee, he is a successful entrepreneur in the commercial market, real estate, and construction contracting. His dedication to preserving and sharing Mexican culture and traditions through authentic tequila is a driving force behind Hacienda Rio Verde.

The partners behind Hacienda Rio Verde Tequila are united by their shared passion and determination to create a premium tequila brand. From humble beginnings, they have pursued their dream of crafting an authentic pure tequila that is accessible and cherished by hardworking individuals.

Hacienda Rio Verde Tequila’s logo incorporates the three stars of Tennessee and symbolizes the agave, sun, and water, branding it as Nashville’s very own tequila.
