EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENT REQUESTS

Please submit any outstanding expense reimbursement requests to the VP or Chair of your appropriate budget category and include all supporting documentation. This includes reimbursements for Art Day, Clubs, etc. Please complete the Reimbursement Form and email treasurer@icsptsa.org with questions.

MATCHING FUNDS



Hello ICS Parents,

Thank you so much to all families who have donated to ICS PTSA!

Our school year-end is approaching! A gentle reminder to families who have donated volunteer hours and/or $: Please submit your donation matching to International Community School PTSA 2 8 89 [Tax ID/EIN Number: 911801111].

Requesting a matching gift or volunteer grant is normally a five-minute process that must be initiated by you or your spouse, the donor/volunteer. You can do this by filling out and submitting through an electronic submission process or a paper match form provided by your employer.

If your company needs a donation receipt, you can send a receipt request to ICS PTSA treasurers (treasurer@icsptsa.org)

Many companies have matching gift programs. Some, such as Microsoft and Google, match gifts through an organization called Benevity; some do it on their own.

For questions regarding your company's matching programs, please contact your employer's HR or community giving department. Much of the necessary information may also be available on your company's intranet.

HELLO FROM THE ICS LIBRARY!

Here are a few dates and reminders about returning library books, textbooks, and technology as we get close to the end of the school year:

• SENIORS ONLY: Return everything to the library between 7:45 AM and 8:45 AM on Friday, June 13. Graduation practice will start at 8:45 AM in the library.
• Grades 6-11: Library books are due Monday, June 16
• Grades 6-11: Return all textbooks and class novels on Friday, June 20.
• 8^TH GRADE ONLY: Return all laptops and power cords on Friday, June 20.

I will be sending an email to every student and their family listing everything currently checked about a week before the due date. We recommend students who are keeping laptops at home for the summer charge and restart their laptop every couple of weeks to get the latest updates. More information about technology and book suggestions are on the Library Webpage. Have a wonderful, restful summer and read great books! Mrs. Peterson 

CAMP PHOENIX LEAD VOLUNTEER NEEDED - EARN HOURS EARLY

We are looking for a lead volunteer to coordinate with teachers and admin to organize parent volunteers to support Camp Phoenix in the fall. You will early your hours early in the year. Please reply to maryoemig@icsptsa.org to put your name in the hat. Ideally, reply now so you can get a full download from last year’s lead before the work starts.

ICS PTSA 2025 SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS

The ICS PTSA awarded 3 scholarships this year to our most deserving seniors who showed exceptional dedication to community work, volunteer efforts, extracurricular activities, and determination for self-improvement. This year's recipients are listed below. 

Gold Winner: Julie Shang ($1,500)

Silver Winner: Ashwari Shende ($1,000)

Bronze Winner: Jasmine Zhen ($500)

The ICS Scholarship Committee congratulates all ICS seniors and wishes them the best of luck and success in their future endeavors!

LUNCHROOM VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Due to recent staff changes, parent volunteers are urgently needed to help ease the lines for students and to support the lunchroom staff. There are many open spots during the month of May and beyond. Please sign up HERE. Thank you for supporting our students and staff!
