**SNOHOMISH RIVER RUN IS 80% FULL!**

Snohomish County's Premiere Running event is over 80% full and well on our way to selling out. What does this mean exactly? When we plan for events we base how much swag, medals and supplies we order on the previous years event while at the same time we feel there is a certain amount of capacity the route can hold before it will decrease the quality of the event for the participants.

For the Snohomish River Run we can accommodate up to 2,100 registrations. This includes 300 for the marathon, 1,000 for the half marathon and 800 for the 5K and 10K. As of this email there are 15 spots available for the marathon, 200 spots for the half marathon and 205 spots for the 5K and 10K.

Don't miss out on Snohomish County's biggest weekend of running featuring a super flat, fast and gorgeous route with tons of course support along with the best swag and finisher medals around. Post race runners will enjoy hot soup, beer garden and many great vendors and sponsors.

For Jennalee, running is about so much more than miles. It’s about resilience, faith, growth, and never giving up.When she first started running, she couldn’t make it half a mile. Then in 2010, she took a chance on herself and completed her very first race, a half marathon! That finish line showed her that her past did not define her and that she was capable of so much more than she imagined.

Today, Jennalee is a proud middle-of-the-pack runner based in Whatcom County. While most of her miles are logged solo, she loves making the trip to Snohomish County to run with friends and be part of the SRC community.

Running continues to be an outlet for mental clarity, stress relief, strength, and overall well-being. One of her biggest motivations is her kids. She wants to show them firsthand what it looks like to prioritize movement, perseverance, and a healthy, active life. Her mindset is simple: keep moving forward. Life gets hard. Miles get hard. But progress doesn’t have to be fast to count. One step at a time is still forward.

As a first-time SRC Ambassador, Jennalee is excited to give back to a running community that has supported and encouraged her along the way.

We run or walk for 45 minutes.

Join us this Sunday at 9AM for the free monthly SRC Community Run.

This month we will be running for no more than 1 hour so we can make it back in time for the start of the Seahawks game.

Not a Seahawks fan? That's fine. Show up and show your spirit. This month's theme is football. Wear the jersey or just some apparel from your favorite team and you will be entered to win some great prizes from the SRC Studio and Store.
