The Friends of the Talbot County Free Library are hosting their fall Friends Book Sale!

We are also accepting limited donations of materials for the sale. Donations are limited to one box or bag of books and DVDs in good condition. Donations are accepted on Tuesday, Nov. 4^th from 10-2 p.m.

"Doc, I Need a Drink" - with Ronald Lesher, Ed.D.

A Date with History Speaker Series welcomes Ronald Lesher, Ed.D., who will explore some of the artifacts of the Prohibition Era: prescriptions and bottle seals that were used to regulate medicinal alcohol and counterfeits of the same to evade the legal requirements imposed by the federal government.

This event is presented by the Talbot Historical Society in partnership with the Talbot County Free Library.

Empower Me!

Thursday, October 30th

5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Easton Branch

Empower Me, a child sexual abuse prevention program, teaches children and adults about personal safety.

There will be simultaneous sessions, one for adults, and other for children ages 3-12 years old.

Dinner will be provided. This program is in partnership with the MD Department of Human Services.
