Client Profile: Associated Builders & Contractors – Eastern Pennsylvania

Communication Solutions recently launched an awareness initiative on behalf of Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) – Eastern Pennsylvania. The association represents nearly 12,000 merit-based construction employees through approximately 500 merit-based companies.

Through expert source articles and coordinated speaking engagements, Communication Solutions helped ABC – Eastern Pennsylvania educate municipal leaders about the potential pitfalls of adopting Responsible Contractor Ordinances (RCOs). Often drafted hastily or modeled after ordinances adopted by other municipalities, RCOs can restrict bidder eligibility for public construction projects.

In some cases, these restrictions have resulted in litigation against municipalities by contractors who believe they were improperly excluded from bidding because of RCO requirements.

It was Communication Solutions Group’s pleasure to work with ABC-Eastern PA’s CEO, Marissa Bankert, on this awareness effort.

In the News: Highlighting Maternal Care for DCIU

For the Delaware County Intermediate Unit (DCIU), Public Relations Specialist Cassie Morrison coordinated media coverage for 6ABC's Philly Proud Segment! The coverage shows how nurse educators are shaping the next generation of LPNs and raising the standard for maternal and infant care.

Project Spotlight: Police Department Website

We’re proud to share that we recently redesigned the Neptune Township Police Department’s website, NeptunePolice.org

The updated site improves public access to information, streamlines communication, and strengthens the connection between the department and the community it serves! It also makes it easier for residents to find important resources, including safety information, department updates, forms, and key contact details.

Marking 33 Years as Montco Gateway Chamber Member

Communication Solutions celebrated 33 years of chamber membership with the Montco Gateway Chamber of Commerce, formerly the Eastern Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce.

We welcomed Kathryn Crossan to the team as a Public Relations Associate in June. Her responsibilities in this role will include writing press releases and copy, social media content creation, and providing communication guidance to clients.

Interns Reflect On Their Experiences

Challan Kligman, a rising senior at Arcadia University, spent the summer interning with us. From his first day at a fire company photo shoot to creating impactful work for the Women's Center of Montgomery County, Challan had a busy and meaningful internship.

Caitlyn Levy, Jenkintown High School Class of 2026, shadowed with us during the last few weeks of her senior year. Caitlyn learned new skills to take with her to Penn State University this fall.
