Together We Serve
Dear Friends,
"Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." — Galatians 6:2
It is truly beautiful to be part of the body of Christ. We are loved by Him, and His love overflows, moving us to share that love with the world around us.
Being a part of MMI is to witness an extension of God's gift of love. You can see it in the volunteers, donors, and board members who generously give of their time, talent, and treasure while fostering lifelong friendships through service. You can see God at work in the midst of sometimes difficult moments, as we receive donations from hospitals, clinics, and families who have experienced the loss of a loved one.
His love is also evident in the employees who, with God's help, work diligently to pray for, build, and sustain MMI. We are grateful for the church that houses us and faithfully carries out its own ministries throughout the week, as well as for the neighbors who stop by to see what is happening. And we see His love reflected in the global family we serve, who continually bless us with their deep faith and determination.
In all things, God is moving and drawing us closer to Him.
In Christ,
Christen

In Memoriam:
Ron Behlan – Volunteer and Friend

Medical Ministries International honors the life and legacy of Ron Behlen, one of our original volunteers, faithful supporters, and dear friends, who went home to be with the Lord on April 23, 2026.
From MMI's earliest days, Ron faithfully served wherever he was needed, helping to build the foundation of the ministry we know today. His servant's heart, dedication, and friendship touched countless lives and will not be forgotten.
We invite you to read more about Ron's remarkable life and lasting impact on MMI by visiting our blog.

We are incredibly grateful for the many student volunteer groups that have served with MMI over the past several months! Most recently, students from Sanger Unified Valley ROP joined us on a Second Saturday to help sort medical supplies and equipment.
Their enthusiasm, hard work, and willingness to serve make a meaningful difference in our mission to bring hope and healing to communities around the world. We simply couldn't do this without the generosity and dedication of our amazing volunteers.
Thank you for being the hands and feet of Christ in action!
A Note of Gratitude From Our Founder, Tom:
MMI’s volunteers have been instrumental in driving our organization’s growth and success over the past 28 years. The dedication of our past volunteers laid the groundwork for our present volunteers, who have continued to build upon and refine our efforts. As we move forward, we are excited to see how our future volunteers will further expand our reach and enhance our ability to provide medical care to those in need. We are deeply grateful for the time, energy, and passion that each of our volunteers brings to our organization. The loss of Ron, a loyal and committed volunteer, is a poignant reminder of the importance of honoring the legacy of those who have come before us. We take comfort in the knowledge that Ron’s faith has secured his eternal future. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time, and we offer our sincerest appreciation to all our volunteers, past, present, and future.

Reta Clark Clinic, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
The Reta Clark Clinic at the Makanissa School for the Deaf continues to be a remarkable ministry of hope and healing. Despite losing not one, but two clinic buildings to eminent domain, the team faithfully rebuilt and is once again serving hundreds of patients in a community where access to affordable healthcare is limited.
As we await duty-free status and government approval for this important shipment, we ask for your prayers. May God continue to open doors so that much-needed medical supplies can reach this vital ministry and bless the thousands of people it serves.

Ethiopian Pharmaceutical Supply Services (EPSS), Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Through a partnership with Pastor Tamirat Haile and DNA of the Kingdom Ministries (Sacramento, CA), MMI is preparing a shipment to the Ethiopian Pharmaceutical Supply Services (EPSS) under the Ethiopian Ministry of Health. Pastor Tamirat has faithfully served in Ethiopia for many years, building relationships and sharing the love of Christ through both ministry and medical missions.
Please join us in praying for this important project as we work alongside Ethiopian leaders to deliver much-needed medical supplies and equipment to communities across the country.
