| | | | Celebrate Easter with us at 7:30, 9:00 or 10:30 AM | |
Join us on Easter Sunday, April 5 at 7:30, 9:00, or 10:30 AM for a powerful day of worship as we celebrate the cornerstone of our faith—the resurrection of Jesus Christ!
We have age-appropriate programming for kids (birth through 5th grade) during the 9:00 and 10:30 AM services, ensuring a fun and engaging experience for our youngest worshippers.
| | |
Help us prepare for guests:
We are going to have a full house! We expect lots of new faces to worship with us on Easter Sunday! Here’s how you can help:
- If you are able, please park in our overflow lots off of Northwoods Blvd!
- Keep an eye out for new guests and offer a welcome and hello!
- When you take your seat in the Worship Center, it would help if you scooted to the center of the row, leaving the ends free for our ushers to see open seats.
| | | | Good Friday Meal & Service | |
On Friday, April 3, at 6:00 PM, we invite you to gather in the Youth Center for a special evening of fellowship and reflection. Enjoy a delicious meal catered by Agape.
Following the meal, we will gather in the Worship Center for a time of worship, devotion, and communion at 7:00 PM.
All ages are welcome! Bring your family and friends as we come together to remember Jesus' sacrifice on Good Friday, April 3.
| | NOTE: Registration is NOT required for the service at 7:00 PM. | | | | |
Hey, WCC family! Are you available on Monday, March 30, or Tuesday, March 31, to help us get our building and grounds ready for Easter? We will be here between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM, so if you have an hour or two to spare, we would appreciate your assistance!
Here’s how you can help:
🧹 Dusting
🧼 Scrubbing
🧽 Vacuuming
🌳 Picking up sticks and debris outside
🪟 Cleaning windows

Help us hire our next Worship Arts Ministry Coordinator.
Kelli Bryan will be stepping down from her role to pursue more time with her family. For the past 6 years, Kelli has been serving our teams - her enthusiasm, work ethic, and attention to detail have been EXACTLY what we needed in our ministry and staff team. We could not have asked for better ministry support, and we have all felt the positive impact she has had on us!
While we certainly will miss having Kelli in this role, it is exciting to have the opportunity to add a new part-time staff member to our team! We are actively seeking qualified candidates to be considered for this position. Check out the job posting listed on our website at worthingtoncc.org/jobs.
| | |
Do you know someone who may be interested? We invite you to share this opportunity with your network to help us find this essential member of our team. We also encourage you to take a moment, in the days and weeks to come, to thank Kelli for serving in this role. Her last day is April 30.
If you have any questions, please reach out to our HR Director, Gina Jacob at gjacob@worthingtoncc.org.

| | | | Women's Bible Study: Why Do We Need the Bible? | |
Have you ever wondered how we got the Bible? Or ask yourself if we can really trust that the Bible is God’s Word? Why do we have so many translations? Do I really need to read all of God’s Word? How does God use His Word in my life today?
The Bible is a wonderful book filled with poetry, historical events, exciting narratives, and stories from the life of Jesus. But because it is an ancient text, it can also be intimidating and confusing. Its complexity makes many people wonder: why do we need the Bible?
This five-session series, by author and Bible teacher Lisa Harper, unpacks these questions and more. There is no cost for this study.
