Dear Sauce Subscriber,
Like it or not, November is on it's way, but I'm not mad because October 2026 owes me absolutely nothing!!!
These past two weeks reminded me of how important it is to stop and enjoy life on purpose! That pic is of me on the campus of me alma mater, Howard University. From walking the yard, to the football game to the alumni events, a literal ball was had! The best part was being able to share advice with current students and deliver my donation to an institution that shaped my ENTIRE future! HU! You know!
For the first time, I attended the Chicago Women's Expo with great reason! My sister Ollette Washington of Ollie's Original Pastas fame, had a booth selling her signature pasta sauces (mild & spicy). As God would have it, the line continued to form, and she sold out both days! Way to go, sis! (Who's your publicist? HAHA) Scroll down to order your sauce online just in time for the holidays!
Other October memories included covering the Gifted Hands Academy Job Fair and celebrating the grant recipients of the "Love Where you Live" program courtesy of Legacy Foundation. Check out my social pages for all the events the C WHITT team hit up!
Also, major congrats are in order for two of my bosslady clients! Merry Green of MGPG Events, Inc and creator of the Black Women's Expo, was recently recognized as a "Woman to Know in Illinois." (Why of course she is!) This honor was bestowed upon only 50 women across the state! Linda Boasmond, CEO of Cedar Concepts in Chicago was honored by the Women's Business Development Center for her tremendous accomplishments in the manufacturing industry. Way to keep crushing it, ladies!
Last but not least, I am humbled and blessed to announce that the Gary Chicago International Airport Board voted unanimously to retain C WHITT PR, LLC to provide community engagement services!
