Your Call to Ministry: Serving Christ Church

Is God calling you to serve in a new and meaningful way?

As we look ahead to our Annual Meeting in February 2027, we invite you to prayerfully consider serving Christ Church as a Warden. Both Jen and Dave will be concluding their terms, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude for their faithful leadership, dedication, and loving service to our parish family. Their commitment has been a true blessing to our church community. As we prepare for this time of transition, we encourage you to open your heart to the possibility of answering God's call to leadership and service. If you feel called to explore this opportunity, or would simply like to learn more about what serving as a Warden involves, please take a moment to speak with Jen or Dave about your discernment. Your gifts, faith, and willingness to serve can make a beautiful difference in the life of Christ Church. Together, let us continue to grow in faith and carry forward the mission of our beloved parish.

We need your help!

Stewardship Campaign

Now Through November 15th

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” — Matthew 6:21

As we enter this season of gratitude and thanksgiving, we are reminded of the many blessings God has bestowed upon us and the importance of giving back with joyful and grateful hearts.

Stewardship is more than simply making a financial contribution. It is a personal response to God's generosity and an expression of our faith through the sharing of our time, talents, and treasures. Each of us has been blessed with unique gifts, and when we come together to share those gifts, we strengthen not only our church but also the community we are called to serve.

Christ Church is so much more than a building. It is our spiritual home—a sacred place where we gather to worship, grow in faith, celebrate life's blessings, comfort one another during difficult times, and share in the love of Jesus Christ. It is a place of fellowship, friendship, and belonging, lovingly entrusted to our care by God.

Our 2026 Stewardship Campaign will continue through Sunday, November 15th. We prayerfully invite every member of our parish family to consider making a pledge in support of Christ Church. Your commitment, no matter the amount, helps ensure that we can continue to care for our beautiful church, support our ministries, serve our neighbors, and preserve this special place of worship for generations to come.

Pledge cards are available at the back of the church. We encourage you to take a card home, reflect prayerfully upon the blessings in your life, and consider how you might share your gifts in support of our parish.

Every gift matters. Every act of service makes a difference. And every pledge is a beautiful expression of faith, gratitude, and love for our church family.

Together, through God's grace and our shared commitment, we can continue to make Christ Church a welcoming place where His love shines brightly in all that we do.

Thank you for your continued generosity, faithfulness, and dedication to Christ Church. May God bless you abundantly as we work together to care for the church we are so blessed to call home.

Thrift Sale: A Big THANK YOU

A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who donated clothing and supported our recent Thrift Sale! Those who helped sort through the donations were delighted by the wonderful quality and variety of clothing we received.

Thanks to everyone’s generosity and hard work, we raised $926 on the day of the sale, with additional funds still coming in. Some of the higher-end clothing has also been taken to a consignment shop to generate further proceeds.

Just as importantly, the sale allowed us to share our abundance with others in our community. Remaining clothing was donated to several organizations serving those in need, including:

  • Programs supporting individuals experiencing homelessness
  • A local nursing home
  • A program for young pregnant women
  • Church of Our Saviour’s Boutique, which provides clothing to guests who use its meal ministry
  • The Saint Vincent de Paul Thrift Store

A special thank-you goes to everyone who sorted clothing, prepared and set up for the sale, volunteered on the day of the event, and helped with cleanup afterward. Your time, energy, and dedication made this effort a success.

Together, we accomplished so much! We raised funds for our church, helped our neighbors, and cared for God’s creation by keeping usable textiles out of landfills.

Thank you for making our Thrift Sale a wonderful example of generosity, community, and stewardship!
