Celebrating the International Day of Older Persons

On October 1st, Little Brothers teams will be mobilizing all over Quebec to raise public awareness regarding the plight of socially isolated seniors and to bring this issue to the attention of public authorities. We will also be taking this opportunity to highlight the legacy of older women and men who have contributed so much to our society over the years.

On October 1^st, join us in our walk to promote the well-being of seniors!

The Little Brothers Island of Montreal team along with HABITATS and Un et un font mille invite you to join them tomorrow for a Citizen’s Walk in support of seniors’ well-being. Join us at Parc Jeanne-Mance, at the corner of Rachel Street and Esplanade Avenue, at 10am. We will be waiting for you there with banners in the new Little Brothers colors! On election day, October 3^rd, we are counting on your vote to make a difference in the lives of the elderly!

Take advantage of this opportunity to ensure that issues facing seniors become a priority for our next provincial government.

Little Brothers: renewed branding for a new chapter

Little Brothers is proud to unveil its new brand to all its extended family and community, including you.

We have chosen the flower as our emblem primarily to express the love, care, and compassion we have for our Great Friends. At the same time, we are paying tribute to Armand Marquiset, founder of Little Brothers, and his motto: "Les fleurs avant le pain" (Flowers before bread).

And what better time than a 60^th anniversary to begin this new chapter?

October 12^th will mark the 60^thanniversary of Little Brothers in Quebec. Initiated in France by Armand Marquiset in 1946, our love affair with seniors in Quebec began on October 12, 1962.

This is an important milestone for our organization, and it is the perfect time to unveil our new brand, rooted in our history, but focused on the future.

Celebrating 60 years of solidarity!

Over the next twelve months, we will be launching several communications initiatives and organizing a multitude of celebrations: keep your eyes open for our media campaign, new website, historical review, team anniversaries, testimonials and more!
