A PERSONAL NOTE
Hi,
Ever since the August 28th lunar eclipse—which often symbolizes closure—fell in my third house of communication, I’ve realized that it is time to gradually bring this newsletter endeavor to a close. Two decades of publishing it is quite a lot! My horoscope shows that I was born to be a writer and teacher, so I’ve loved sharing my thoughts and predictions with you, and am very grateful for all my readers who’ve been loyal fans through the years.
(Closing down the newsletter does not mean that I’m “closing shop” because I’ll still be available for readings.)
“Spirit’s Words” has allowed me to offer three things: see what’s ahead astrologically on the world stage and with notable public figures; share my philosophy and sometimes personal issues with you; and, most importantly, provide a message from The Brotherhood of Light Workers. (The book reviews are just added fun content that you might even care to pursue.) Right now, I expect to continue publishing until the end of the year.
We’re living through a stressful, even chaotic, era. Astrology is a beacon and guide during such troubled times. I’ve been happy to see younger astrological faces posting their thoughts and forecasts on the internet, happy that our time-honored profession is getting respect and popularity now. It’s very fitting that it’s happening this way, during Pluto’s transit through Aquarius – the sign ruling astrology – and during the new age, the Age of Aquarius. Not a coincidence.
Just wait until the current batch of kids, born under these auspices, reaches their twenties and thirties – hoo boy! AI and robots will abound. Maybe 3D food? Certainly, medical and commercial innovations. My generation of astrologers was the bridge, and now it’s time to pass the torch.

OCT ’26 ASTRO TIDBITS
The World sees deep passions and violence in Week 1 but also much new invention (Venus station retrograde in Scorpio; Mars opposite Pluto, sextile Uranus). Week 2 does a turnabout as peace talks resume and alliances are deepened (New Moon in Libra; Venus conjunct Mercury). People are at odds mid-month (Mars square Venus). Week 3 shows economic stress being handled sensibly and calmer (Venus square Pluto; Mars trine Saturn). Higher consciousness and new understanding continue to make inroads (Pluto station direct sextile Neptune, sextile Uranus). Week 4 brings tensions addressed with much renewed discussion (Full Moon square Pluto; Mercury station retrograde square Jupiter).
The U.S. begins the month with frustrated efforts (Mars square U.S. p2 Saturn). Nevertheless, Week 2 is great for technological advancements and military victories (Mars sextile U.S. p2 Uranus/Uranus, conjunct U.S. NN). A potential role as benign World Cop is on the horizon (New Moon in Libra conjunct U.S. p2 Mars in H10). Mid-month brings lots of tension and resistance to change (Pluto station direct square U.S. p2 Saturn, quinqunx U.S. Venus exact). Week 3 brings assertive action (Mars trine U.S. ASC). Week 4 shows ups and downs in the markets, energy independence, and discussions about hidden matters (Full Moon in Taurus H5 sextile U.S. Venus, opposite U.S. p2 Saturn exact; Mars sextile U.S. Saturn/p2 Mars; Mercury station retrograde in Scorpio trine U.S. p2 Sun). The U.S. gains recognition for its reasonable endeavors (Saturn sextile U.S. p2 MC).
President Trump will likely be happy, confident, and cool-headed in Week 1 despite challenges (Venus station retrograde sextile his p2 Sun, trine his Mercury exact; Mars trine his p2 Moon, conjunct his p2 Saturn, square his p2 ASC). He’ll get things done (Saturn trine his p2 MC). Week 2 indicates a fortunate new start regarding energy and finances, maybe with a little cosmic help (New Moon in H2 conjunct his Jupiter exact/p2 Mars; Jupiter sextile his NN/p2 Uranus; Mars sextile his p2 Neptune)! Mid-month into Week 3 brings difficult power struggles behind the scenes but tremendous strength and good results (Pluto station direct square his p2 ASC exact, opposite his p2 Saturn; Mars conjunct his p2 MC/p2 Pluto; Saturn trine his Pluto). Week 4 is full of good news and successes, showing many options and innovations (Venus station retrograde in his H3; Jupiter sextile his Sun; Mars sextile his Uranus, sextile his Jupiter). End of month indicates a peak regarding foreign alliances and/or security measures (Full Moon in Taurus H9 conjunct p2 DSC).
The Democratic National Party is very weakened and confused now (Neptune conjunct its Pluto, square its Mercury). It has a chance to reinvent itself (Pluto sextile its Pluto) but March ’27 could see the start of its demise (Saturn square its Neptune/Sun, t-square its Saturn)!
Democratic Senator John Fetterman (8/15/69, time unknown, West Reading, PA) is idealistic yet uncertain of his identity (Sun square Neptune). He receives a windfall, is in the spotlight, and sees success and opportunity by mid-October ’26 (his p2 Uranus conjunct his Jupiter; Jupiter conjunct his Sun). In ’27, there is financial gain for him (his p2 Venus conjunct his Pluto).

Book Review: “Unfinished Business: What the Dead Can Teach Us About Life" by James Van Praagh (HarperOne, 2009)
Van Praagh is a clairvoyant and spiritual medium who has written books, consulted on tv projects, and done psychic readings for people for many years. Most of this book consists of details of sessions in which a deceased loved one offers a message of insight, discovery, forgiveness, responsibility, and so forth in order to assuage guilt, remove fear, own up to a duty, shower love, and more. As the title says, spirit wants to complete the unfinished business of a lifetime by communicating what is necessary, or what was left out and never said nor done.
Death, he makes clear, brings a different perspective. Everything is seen more clearly. The role of a medium, we see, is to be the agency that allows the dead to communicate this new viewpoint to their significant living ones. “After crossing into the light, spirits are ever eager to share their newfound knowledge with the living.”
For instance, a dead father who mocked his son’s ever-upbeat nature tells him that he realizes his son has the gift of optimism that will take him far in life. Or, three young guys who died together in a car accident are resolving karma from their cruel killing of an innocent couple as previous Vietnam vets, and are now regretful but more aware, accepting their current accident as karmic rebalancing. “Spirits understand why certain situations had to happen. They are able to recognize the value of others, even their enemies, and what they had to learn from them.” Blame, jealousy, judgment, depression… many such things are acknowledged and shown to be healed.
Chapter headings describe much of what is covered: Emotional Baggage, Do Unto Others, I Can See Clearly, Your New Life. I enjoyed the personal narratives, the uncovered secrets, and profound wisdom contained in these true stories, written conversationally and interspersed with Van Praagh’s lifelong philosophy. Recommended. – 5 stars

THE SOURCE OF THESE WORDS
We assume that you are present and listening, for that which we communicate is always in the best interest of our readers, or should we say audience. This type of communication is almost like performance. A stage is set. An energy zone is created. Words that are akin to a script are spoken but the source is not heard physically. The name of this type of communication has been given the designation of channeling. Is this correct? Is there a tube or pathway that words travel along?
No, not really. A form of transmission is created but not actually sent. Just as matter can be created from energy, and vice versa, thoughts can be constructed out of thin air! The question is, from whence do these thoughts emanate? Now, that is really the mystery, for this psychic -- our agency or medium -- does not construct these thoughts consciously and does not write the script. It forms spontaneously from the higher realm or dimension that contains all knowledge, all wisdom, and all experience.
We wish to confirm, therefore, that any particular medium or channeler, when authentic, gives rise to information spontaneously as is required for that moment in time, for that audience, and for that belief system. Those who are not receptive or open to these messages will either not encounter them altogether or will shut their minds to such a reality.
Nevertheless, it is important, having read these words so far, that you understand that your mind is open, your heart as well, and that you are comfortable entertaining the notion that this performance has been spiritually created to aid you in your journey.
