Bill himself is on the autism spectrum, as is his youngest brother, a niece, and a nephew. Bill is an Oak Hills High School graduate, and, began volunteering for the Autism Society Greater Cincinnati in June 2016. In April 2017 Bill became a Social Media Facilitator, and in October 2020 was promoted to be ASGC's Communications Coordinator. Some of Bill's current responsibilities include managing our social media platforms, creating and setting up our program and event emails, plus keeping our website up-to-date.

Bill also volunteers for Marjorie Book Continuing Education, a nonprofit bringing people with and without disabilities together through theater, postsecondary education classes, and service learning projects.
