Saddle up buckaroos and come explore the Wild West with Young Rembrandts! We will draw a variety of objects, people and scenes found in the adventurous Wild West, while exploring different types of media. We will create a full scene of cowboy accessories using color pencils as well as draw a collection of fun rodeo cartoons.

Kids and animals go together like PB&J, so what better way to keep your child entertained (and learning!) than with an all-animal drawing & cartooning workshop? In this multi-media Young Rembrandts workshop, our artists will draw everything from cute & cuddly pets, farm animals, zoo animals, jungle animals, underwater sea creatures and more. We might even sneak in some mythical beasts!

Fencing Camp for Ages 5-11 |
Sign up your young and active "Swashbuckler" for this fun fencing program which introduces kids ages 5-11 years to the Olympic Sport of Fencing!
Prevost d’ Armes Coach Murray will train skills involved in fencing like attacking and defending, footwork, blade work, agility, balance, strategy, sportsmanship and the rules of the game in this world renown sport!

Healthy Comfort Food Workshop |
Bring your curious hands and thinking caps this December. We will celebrate the chilly weather and focus on three comfort food recipes to warm up those hungry bellies. All recipes are kid tested and parent approved as they are gluten-free and for those with dairy intolerance, delicious, and nutritious.

This annual event is packed with beautiful works of art crafted by local artists. Studio tour information will be available at the event.
There is no fee to attend, but if you are so inclined, the Activity Center is currently collecting gently used or new youth books in our lobby to help supply our indoor kids corner and our outdoor Little Free Library located at the Lakeway Activity Center.

City Wide Indoor Garage Sale |
September 10 Garage Sale
Plan to attend the City Wide Indoor Garage sale on Saturday September 10, 8am-Noon at Lakeway Activity Center, 105 Cross Creek.
There is no entrance fee to attend the garage sales, but we do ask you to consider donating gently used kids books and/or nonperishable food items.
These items will donated to local charities in our community.
Thanks for helping us help our neighbors.

Lakeway Masterpiece Concert Presented by The City of Lakeway Arts Committee

Enjoy big band music from the 17-piece The Republic of Texas Big Band, featuring David Cummings and Lisa Clark on vocals. This event is scheduled the 2nd Monday of each month and is free and open to all ages. Donations to the band are encouraged. Doors open at 6:30pm and show is from 7pm-9pm.
