Hope this email finds you well as that season we're over a month into has, seemingly, Sprung.

Tonight, May 15th, we have our Parks& Environmental committee meeting with a presentation from the Gowanus Canal Conservancy and one from Garden Train.
Speaking of Parks it's great to see BKCB6ers out in action to support New Yorkers for Parks #playfair campaign which, if you'll recall we voted to support at our April Board meeting. If you want to join in on supporting #playfair the next City Council Parks Committee hearing will be held on May 22nd 2:30 PM, at City Hall.
Tomorrow our Transportation & Public Safety Committee meets at the 78th Precinct featuring a presentation from DOT, as well as, one from the Straphangers Campaign.
Next week we start our meeting schedule with EWCDH on Monday, May 20th, followed by the Executive with the Gowanus Scoping as the focus on Tuesday , YHSE on Wednesday and capped off Landmarks & Land Use on Thursday.

Also, following up on emails I sent to our members, this is a standing reminder to please send your proposed additions to the Gowanus EIS letter & scoping questions to me via email by this Friday, May 17th. Don't forget that you can also submit your own comments.
