NEW OLLI Fall 2024 Overnight Field Trip

Description: 2 days, 1 night: Become Cinderella or Prince Charming for the day! Treat yourself to a once-in-a lifetime experience with San Francisco native Terry McAteer. A Sierra College bus will transport you to San Francisco for a gourmet lunch at the famous Hayes Street Grill. Have your bobbles on as we will travel a couple of blocks to the SF War Memorial Opera House to see the captivating opera Carmen in Dress Circle seating.

Following the opera, we will check into and be greeted with a champagne at the nearby luxury Proper Hotel. Drinks and nibbles will be at its outdoor rooftop restaurant— Charmaine.

The rooms are quite elegant so you’ll have a restful sleep to find a delicious breakfast awaiting you at Villian. Following breakfast, we will travel to the San Francisco’s acclaimed Museum of Modern Art to view its collection of Calders, Picassos, Kandinskys and more!

Our adventure then is capped off with lunch at the world famous Garden Court in San Francisco’s historic Palace Hotel. Following lunch, it’s back to reality. All-inclusive except alcoholic drinks.
