ANNOUNCEMENTS

Vacation Virginia+ away10/16 - 10/24

SOMD Pride has been postponed due to inclement weather. The new date is November 8, 2026

Stewardship Season Has Begun

This year’s theme is “Plenty Good Room.” Through October, you’ll hear from parishioners each Sunday about why they give and why every gift of time, talent, and treasure matters. Pledge cards are in every pew. Please fill them out and bring them with you to In-gathering Sunday on November 8th. Our goal is $300,000.

Educational Session

As a reminder, we will be having an educational session between services next Sunday, the 18th. This will take place in our church, as the Parish Hall remains under construction. Rose Crunkelton, a local attorney, will address estate planning from a legal standpoint, and Bryan Dowell of our Parish will speak to estate planning from an investment perspective.

The Planned Giving Board encourages everyone to take advantage of this opportunity.

Opportunities to serve:

C4 Urgent Need: Calvert Concept (C4) has been blessed with 3 new Client Members but we have unexpectedly lost a mentor (“Liason”) for one of them who will be unable to start until we obtain and train a new person. Please consider being that person. C4 provides expert assistance, training, resources and insurance. Call Kip At Lee at 410 474-3008 to volunteer.

Here are the October Spudnik dates:

Workdays: October 24th, 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
