OMS Family,

In a season of economic pressure and a world that feels like it's constantly shifting, we're grateful to serve a God who stays the same and remains faithful to our efforts to impact, influence, and inspire our community.

At the start of this year, we launched our 6C Leadership program and carried out two Leadership Cohorts in partnership with Lighthouse Christian School and Barefoot Republic Community Center. We served over 20 students and gave each of them the opportunity to apply for our Scholarship program.

Following our cohorts, we held our annual OMS Biscuit Fundraiser in Dallas, TX, where our runners came together for a cause close to our hearts, celebrating our 5-year anniversary — marking five years since we put legs to our dreams.

We recently distributed scholarships to two well-deserved students:

Jordyn Henderson, a Biology major at Spelman College, is pursuing a career in medicine and clinical pathology, with a heart for serving underserved communities.

Khandez Robinson, a Physiological Science major at UCLA, is on a path toward physical therapy or PA school, driven by a goal to help patients heal, manage their health, and reach their goals.

Congratulations to you both — we are proud to invest in your future!

We also had the opportunity to set up a table at the Urban League Conference, where we connected with the community and shared what we do and why we love doing it.

We could not do what we do without you. Thank you to everyone who supported our latest project, The Cake Prayer — a fun family read built around Ollie Mae Smith's favorite scripture, the one she prayed over us daily (Ollie Mae represents our mothers and grandmothers). Its purpose is to remind us of family tradition, unity, and our dependence on God.

We hope you enjoyed it, and we hope you'll keep supporting the project — proceeds go directly toward our scholarship program.

💜 Will You Partner With Us?

None of this is possible without you. Every cohort, every scholarship, every table we set up in the community is fueled by the generosity of people who believe in what we're building. As we look ahead to the rest of this year, we're asking you to prayerfully consider a gift to OMS Foundation.

Your donation directly funds scholarships, leadership programming, and community outreach for the next generation of students we serve.

Every dollar moves us closer to impacting, influencing, and inspiring one more student.

With gratitude,

The OMS Foundation Team 💜
