Exciting News!

The Arnold Senior Activity Center, located at 44 Church Road in Arnold, will begin renovations and expansion this month!

The expansion will add 3,350 square feet, which will create 4 additional classrooms for activities and additional space for group activities to accommodate the growing needs of the center members. The existing building will see site modifications to reconfigure and modernize the space. The facility will be constructed to meet LEED Silver Certification utilizing solar roof panels, electric charging stations, LED lighting, and other utility efficient fixtures. This renovation and expansion project will prioritize the preservation of some of the building's original architectural features, such as the distinct siding, foyer, and the overall footprint of the former school. Interior modifications will respect the existing layout and character, ensuring that any new elements complement the historic design.

Thank you County Executive Steuart Pittman, for recognizing the needs of our community and making Anne Arundel County The Best Place - For All!

Meet King

A True Gentle Giant with a Heart of Gold!

King is a 10-year-old sweetheart who’s equal parts goofy and handsome. With his expressive face and playful personality, this lovable boy is guaranteed to bring joy and laughter into your life. Though he’s a dignified senior, don’t let his age fool you—King still has plenty of pep in his step and loves to romp around like a pup, especially when toys are involved!

Curious and brave, King occasionally finds himself in silly situations, but that just adds to his charm. He’s never met a cuddle he didn’t like and is happiest when he’s close to his people, offering loyal companionship and the best snuggles around.

While King hasn’t had much experience with other dogs, his gentle nature shines through in every interaction. He’s affectionate, devoted, and ready to be someone’s best friend.

King may have a few gray hairs, but his heart is full of love and he’s more than ready for his next chapter. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion with a playful spirit and a heart of gold, come meet King—you might just find your perfect match.

If you are interested in meeting King, please visit our website today and submit an application!
