From a modest beginning in rural Indiana to a nationwide presence, Everence Financial® has spent 80 years weaving service, stewardship, and community into the fabric of its mission.

Founded in 1945 as Mennonite Mutual Aid with just three employees and fewer than 3,000 clients, Everence now supports more than 85,000 members across the U.S. through nearly 400 employees and 28 offices –including several locations in Pennsylvania. Yet even with its expansive reach, the heart of Everence remains local – like at its Souderton office, where personalized financial guidance is paired with a deep commitment to community care.

Throughout its history, Everence has made community support a key aspect of its mission. Here are a few ways Everence continues to carry on its tradition of service, stewardship and mutual aid, and makes an impact here in greater Indian Valley region and across the country.

80 ACTS OF SERVICE

To celebrate its 80th anniversary, Everence has embarked on a company-wide initiative to conduct more than 80 acts of service throughout 2025. Employees here in Indiana, as well as employees throughout the U.S., have served their neighbors in numerous ways.

So far this year, Everence employees have volunteered at several nonprofits and organizations throughout the greater Indian Valley region: Keystone Opportunity Center; MCC Material Resource Center; Quakertown Christian School, and more.
