We are delighted to report that Phase one is (almost) officially complete and our first lot sale will close on Monday! In the creation of Polestar Village, we are envisioning a level of goodwill, creativity, trust, cooperation and collaboration rarely expressed in human endeavors. We not only believe this is possible but also that it is necessary in order to meet the challenges our times. Consciously, we seek to replace isolation with connection, rejection with inclusion, judgement with compassion; and to acknowledge our essential Unity and Oneness with each other, all of Nature, and the Spirit that flows through us.

• Donations: Your tax-deductible contributions have been a huge part of what has gotten us this far, and will make the next steps possible.

The Pit of Despair

The Polestar "Rain Garden" is designed to filter runoff water before it enters the detention pond and continues east through Fort Collins. Unfortunately, it was found to be partially under the water table which required "de-watering" the site continually for almost 2 weeks. We then added layers of gravel, perforated drainpipe, and "bio-media" for filtration via a mechanical "rockslinger". It was weeks of fun for the Keith and other Polestafarian helpers and you can click here to see the rock slinger in action!
