Celebrating Women's History Month!

Throughout history, women have been pioneers in the automotive industry, driving innovation in clean transportation and sustainability. Visionaries like Mildred Dresselhaus, whose research in carbon nanotechnology helped advance EV battery technology, and Mary Barra, the first female CEO of General Motors, who is leading the company’s transition to an all-electric future, have paved the way for a greener world. Their contributions, along with those of engineers, policymakers, and entrepreneurs, continue to make clean air vehicles more accessible.

Ride & Drive Events

Tacos and Taxes

On Saturday, February 22nd, DCAP hosted a Ride & Drive event, where community members had the unique opportunity to test drive clean air vehicles, all thanks to our partnerships with Premiere Nissan of Fremont, Premiere Subaru of Fremont, Fremont Chevrolet and Fremont Ford.

But that’s not all—attendees also got the scoop on grant opportunities for both new and used clean air vehicles, making sustainable choices more accessible than ever.

We proudly joined the Fremont Family Resource Center Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, alongside Golden State Opportunity and Senator Aisha Wahab's Office, who held the Tacos and Taxes event.
