Just as we honor those who sacrificed their lives for our freedom...

...likewise, I want to say Thank You...for your faithful prayers and sacrificial support!

Dear JoAnn,

Last weekend was dedicated to honoring those who bravely sacrificed their lives for our freedom. As Christians, I believe it is important that we also honor the HEROES OF OUR FAITH...

...not just those who are inscribed in God's Word, but the brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives throughout history and those who are being persecuted this very moment because of their faith in Jesus Christ.

Likewise, I consider you as a HERO OF OUR FAITH and I'm so thankful for your faithful prayers and sacrificial support which allowed me to faithfully serve as a U.S. Missionary over the past 22 years. My top priority is to SEEK AND SAVE the lost, the hurting, the marginalized, and the needy--those in need of spiritual growth and direction, as well as those with physical needs of clothing, food, shelter, mental health, career/job training and life-skills--just as the Lord directs us to serve others in Matthew 25:31-40.

Matthew 25:31- 40

This past year, the Lord has been transitioning CORD Ministries (Community Outreach & Resource Development) to fulfill Matthew 25:31-40 as our main focus and priority. So I've been restructuring, organizing files, discarding outdated materials, raising funds, revising our website, and updating our non-profit 501(c)3 status to prepare for this next season of full-time ministry.

The U.S. Missions leadership of the General Council Assemblies of God has implemented a new initiative that 80% of my time and effort must be dedicated to SEEK, SAVE AND SEND! My heart and passion for the past 40+ years in full-time ministry has been to disciple God's people to reach the lost. And my goal as a U.S. Missionary for 22 years has been to EQUIP CHURCHES TO REACH OUTSIDE THEIR WALLS.

UPDATE: Last month, I was very close to raising 100% of my mission budget, but today I received notice that my mission budget has been increased. So now I need to raise $1,785 more in monthly support. With several new policies in place as a nationally-appointed U.S. Missionary, I have a very short time to raise these funds or I will be forced to stop all ministry to focus only on fundraising.

WARNING: Sometime in the next 10 months, you'll be receiving a letter that I'll be reaching RETIREMENT age...yup, I'll be over 65!!! But I'M NOT SLOWING DOWN or hanging up my hat. Instead, I'm gearing up with new strategies to expand God's kingdom through CORD MINISTRIES as I continue to reach the lost with greater passion during this latter season and milestone in my life...

...I'm still a full-time nationally-appointed U.S. Missionary and I'm not retiring. I'm still called to SEEK, SAVE AND SEND...and my Mission Account (#2468692) with AGUSM is still open if your church needs to receive "mission giving credit"...

...we still need your mission support to continue ministering to those in need with 100% of your donation providing food, supplies, training materials, and Bibles to those in need whether we're reaching the lost here in Southern California, as we travel across this nation, or possibly taking the Gospel to other countries...

...your continued prayers and support for CORD MINISTRIES will allow us to fulfill MATHEW 25:31-40 by ministering to those who are hungry, thirsty, lonely, forgotten, sick, imprisoned, and in need of God's saving grace and healing power. Will you continue to partner with us to CULTIVATE MISSIONS by reaching the lost and mobilizing mission teams?

As we serve the Lord and follow Him in obedience, there will be times of sacrifice and victories! But the sacrifice that Christ made on the Cross for our sins and the blessings He provides will far outweigh anything we might consider a sacrifice!
