Here's what McPhinneaus had to say about how FCA has changed his life!
- As an athlete, how has FCA impacted your life on all levels?
"As an athlete, especially at the high school level, it is easy to get lost in what seems like the most important thing in your life. You begin to lose sight of yourself as almost everything revolves around performance, proving that you belong. FCA impacted my life as an athlete as it's showed me a balance, how you can still be devoted to a sport but not sacrifice other aspects of your life. Most importantly, FCA has brought that devotion in the Lord into the heart of sports and allows me to demonstrate that love in a community of athletes and beyond."

Being involved with FCA, how has FCA impacted your time in high school?
"High school lies at a pivotal transition in the teenage years. Going from middle school where everyone knows everyone to a campus with four times as many students is daunting. Coming from a non-local middle school for me it was even more drastic, where some might have groups that all flow into high school, I went into this expanse without knowing anyone. FCA and finding leadership within it has given me a sense of community that goes beyond year and background. FCA gives students the comfort and ability to further their faith in a place that is otherwise difficult and frustrating to navigate. FCA stands as the bridge between church and school, bringing the Word of God to all of those willing to listen."
