The Core Virtue of the Month House Challenge
Virtue of the Month – Responsibility
During the month of December, we are focusing on acts of Responsibility - The ability to distinguish between right and wrong, and to be accountable for one’s behavior.
Teachers and staff will be on the lookout to reward students with special Virtue of the Month Virtue Tickets for exhibiting behavior aligned with this Core Virtue. Each Virtue of the Month Ticket earned counts towards 5 points for the students' House.
November House Service Challenge - Food Drive
The November House Service Challenge – Food Drive to benefit Second Harvest has ended and the tallies are in! We are pleased to announce that every grade band met their threshold of participation to earn the House incentive.
PreK & Elementary – Congratulations to Reynolds!!! All PreK & Elementary students in Reynolds may wear their House shirt with jeans on Friday, December 5th.
Middle School – Congratulations to Wright!!! All Middle School students in Wright may wear their House shirt with jeans on Friday, December 5th.
High School – Congratulations to Monterey!!! All High School students in Monterey may wear their House shirt with jeans on Friday, December 5th.
A big thank you to all of SCA for making this food drive one of the most successful we’ve had at SCA!!! Together SCA exceeded our goal of 2,500 with a total of 2,624 items to be donated to Second Harvest!! The CEO Challenge incentive will be revealed the week we return from break!! Great job SCA!!
