| | 4-H Afterschool at Brinley-BRUINS 4-H Club Showcase | | The 4-H Afterschool Brinley-BRUINS club celebrated a successful year with an end-of-year showcase at J. Harold Brinley Middle School. Club members proudly presented the projects they had worked on throughout the year, giving friends, family, and members of the school community a chance to see their creativity and growth firsthand. Attendees were invited to explore the displays, learn more about each project, and spend time together playing board games in a relaxed, welcoming environment. The event highlighted the hard work of the youth participants while bringing the community together to celebrate their achievements. | | | Around the World Programming | | The Clark County 4-H team recently wrapped up its Around the World programming, reaching more than 800 students across over 30 classrooms throughout Clark County. Over the course of eight months, four instructors delivered the A Road Trip Through Latin America curriculum, engaging youth in learning about diverse cultural elements while participating in hands-on arts activities inspired by various countries, including creating jaguar masks and exploring traditional yarn art. The program builds on the vision of Marilyn Kirkpatrick and her 2022 Around the World initiative in District B, continuing to expand cultural awareness and educational opportunities for local students through interactive, classroom-based experiences. | | |
