ORHMA Launches HR Companion - A Complimentary HR Compliance Platform for Members

Mississauga, ON – June 12, 2025 | The Ontario Restaurant Hotel & Motel Association (ORHMA) is proud to announce the launch of HR Companion, a complimentary human resources compliance and policy platform available exclusively, to all ORHMA members. Developed in partnership with First Reference, HR Companion is an industry-leading digital resource designed to simplify and strengthen HR management across Ontario’s hospitality sector.


Whether running a large hotel chain or a small independent restaurant, hospitality operators face growing complexity in HR compliance, documentation, and policy creation. HR Companion eliminates these burdens by providing ORHMA members with complimentary access to an all-in-one portal that helps streamline HR operations and ensure legislative compliance.

How to Access HR Companion

To access the HR Companion platform, ORHMA members can sign up here. Once registered, members will receive personalized login credentials and onboarding support from ORHMA’s dedicated Member Services team and our partner, First Reference.
