Following up on our recent Save the Date, we are thrilled to announce that registration is officially open for RISE: The Bread Project’s 26th Anniversary Gala & Auction!

This year, we are doing something special. After years of hosting our galas across the bridge in San Francisco, we are bringing the celebration back home to the East Bay.

On Wednesday, April 22, 2026, we will gather at the beautiful, historic Hillside Club in Berkeley—right in the heart of the community where our program operates and where so many of our program participants from Oakland and Berkeley live and work.

In a time of uncertainty for many of our Bay Area neighbors, this evening is a deliberate call to action. We are creating a space to stand in solidarity with those committed to economic mobility. Together, we will celebrate 26 years of impact and 2,600 lives changed, while raising critical funds to ensure those who face significant barriers have access to training and living wage jobs.

Most importantly, 100% of all ticket sales go directly toward funding our Food Prep & Baking Training & Job Placement Program. Your attendance makes certain that our trainees receive the hands-on culinary skills, resources, and career support they need to secure stable, living-wage employment.
